We would like to inform you below on the type, extent and purposes of the recording and use of personal data on our website.
Use of the website and automatic data recording
You can in principle visit our website without disclosing personal information on your identity such as your name, e-mail address, address or other personal details.

To the extent that use of the IP address is no longer necessary for purposes of system stability and security, the last octet is abbreviated, preventing the possibility of any association with the individual user. The data are stored for twelve months in this anonymized form and used for statistical purposes.
Recording of additional data
If you opt to contact us or order one of our Internet offers such as a newsletter subscription, registration for an event, participation in a contest, use of a topic-specific search engine, RSS feeds, the conference scheduler, order of brochures, making an entry to the database or requesting information material, we require additional personal information such as your name, your e-mail address, mailing address and other information related to the offer. Disclosure of your personal data is always voluntary and subject to your discretion. We only record and use the data necessary for fulfilling the respective purpose (normally for fulfillment of contractual obligations/provision of the corresponding services).

Personal data is only recorded, stored or processed within GERHARD GRENZING S.A. and by external service providers under contractual obligation as contract data processors within the scope of the applicable data protection regulations.
Your personal data will not be disclosed to any bodies other than those involved in handling your concern (e.g. companies with whom we jointly plan and host events as well as our service providers). More information on the bodies involved may be found in the information on the specific service.
To the extent that we hired external service providers for the processing of personal data (e.g. for the mailing of information material, servicing purposes or destruction of data carriers), this will be in accordance with data protection regulations and with the purpose that the service providers only use the entrusted data according to our contractually agreed instructions and we are conceded a right of monitoring of the technical and organizational measures to be complied with by the contractor.
If there is a legal obligation to do so, we are obligated to do so per court order or for purposes of criminal prosecution, we will disclose your data to the bodies entitled to the information.
Newsletter, specialized information and information on offers and campaigns
When you register for our newsletter/mailing list we/ the respective specified companies use your e-mail address and additional information disclosed within the scope of registration (e.g. your name) for sending the newsletter, specialized information or information and offers. You may unsubscribe at any time/revoke respective consent with effect for the future. The right to perform similar measures where permitted by law (e.g. §28 Sect. 3 Federal Data Protection Act) will remain unaffected by such a declaration of consent or its revocation.
Your e-mail address and additional data will not be used elsewhere, subject to the proviso of further information in these notices. In this process you will receive one or several newsletters, specialized information and offers depending on the context of the service or function you registered for.
If you open the relevant mailings or click on a link therein, this may be recorded via the web server (date, time, e-mail address). This is for internal statistical purposes. This data will not be collated to generate personal user profiles.

Which cookies does our website contain?
We only use "session cookies". A session cookie is a cookie which is automatically deleted after the user has closed the browser.
When a user is logged onto the social networks Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, XING or LinkedIn, additional cookies from the respective social network are placed by the operator of the social network. This is beyond our control.

Social plug-ins from the services [Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, XING and LinkedIn] are used on our website. Personal data may be disclosed to the service providers (including those in countries outside Europe) via these social plug-ins as well as may be used by them.
We ourselves do not record any personal data using social plug-ins or on the use thereof. We configured the social plug-ins in such a way that initially no personal data can be disclosed to the providers of the individual social plug-ins when you visit our website. Only after you click on one of the social plug-ins can the data be conveyed to the service provider and stored there.
When you click on the corresponding buttons by the service provider, he receives the information that you retrieved the corresponding subpage of our website. For this you do not need an account with this service provider or have to be logged on there. If you are logged on with this service provider, this data will be directly traced to your account. If you click on one of the social plug-ins and for example link the site, the service provider will also store this information in your user account and will publicly disclose this to your contacts.

YouTube videos and associated data recording and use
On our websites you can watch videos incorporated via a "plug-in" by YouTube (a company belonging to Google Inc., San Bruno/California, USA). As soon as you visit a website of our services on which such a YouTube plug-in is incorporated, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Different types of information may be sent to YouTube, e.g. your IP address or which page of our website you are currently visiting. If you watch a video incorporated this way, this data may be stored and further used by YouTube. If in this case you are logged onto YouTube with your YouTube account, YouTube may trace your surfing behavior to your YouTube user profile. You can prevent the corresponding data processing by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our websites.
The "expanded data protection modus" is activated on our website for YouTube videos.
As this is a service by a third party the processing of such data by YouTube is beyond our control. Data transmission security
Protection of the data being transmitted cannot be guaranteed on public networks such as the Internet with current technology and cannot be entirely protected from third party access. For this reason, please do not send us any confidential data via the Internet (e.g. per contact form or e-mail) without adequate protection. However, all forms on this website recording personal data were encrypted with the protocol TSL 1.2.
Processing of data in other countries outside of Spain
Subject to the proviso of further-reaching information stated in the data protection notice your personal data recorded and stored on our IT systems via our website are not processed outside of Spain.
Information on data processing, correction, restriction of processing, right to data transmission, right of objection and deletion of data
You have the right to receive information at any time regarding your personal data being recorded or processed, the origin thereof as well as the recipient and purpose of recording or processing. For this purpose you can send an e-mail to info@grenzing.com. At your request we will also correct the data stored about you. If you gave your consent to the storage or processing of your data, you have the right at any time to send a revocation with effect for the future to info@grenzing.com, provided that no other address was provided in the specific context. As from May 25, 2018 you may moreover exercise your rights against us to restriction of the processing and data transmission or lodge an objection against specific types of processing of personal data if the statutory prerequisites under the EU Data Protection Basic Ordinance are given in the individual case and in consideration of the service being used.
We will delete the data stored in our systems as soon as the purpose of storage or processing ceases to exist. For this purpose, there is a regular review to determine whether storage is still necessary or not. To the extent that you request deletion of your personal data we will comply with this request provided that the deletion is not contrary to statutory provisions such as storage duties. For this purpose you may send an e-mail to info@grenzing.com.
Right to Complain
Notwithstanding another administrative or legal remedy you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory body, in particular in the member state of your place of habitual abode, your workplace or the place of the imputed breach if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection provisions.
